Don Rectenwald Sr. 1930 - 2013
Our family is sad to announce the passing of our father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle, and friend, Donald P Rectenwald, Sr. Along with his father, Joseph Rectenwald Sr., Don Sr. started Rex Paint & Glass back in 1958 at our current RT 19 location in McMurray. Everything this company stands for and works for today originated with the ideals and ethics passed down from Don Sr. "Don't be greedy" and "Do the right thing" are two examples of the principles Don lived his life by and inspired us to to live and work by as well. We owe the friendships we've established throughout the years and our livelihoods to this great man. He will be missed but his legacy will continue as we get up each morning and strive to be our best and do our best work, just as he did until the very end. We miss you Pap.
